How many times can I use the card in a participating venue?
You can use your View Card once per offer per day but offers are unlimited. If you like somewhere, you can go back again after 24 hours to use any offers valid to View Card holders on that day. Please see specific venue listings to find out when offers are available and any restrictions that apply.
The card seems very cheap - what's the catch?
There is no catch! We’ve worked very hard to establish ourselves as the leading online guide to London with a big audience and have built great relationships with venues across the capital and the rest of the UK. This is a good way for us to benefit everyone involved in our success – you get introduced to some fantastic places offering you meaningful savings and they get your custom. We don’t charge a premium for our service unlike other dining memberships as we believe you should be able to save the cost of the card in just one use. After that, everything is a bonus!
Can other people use my View Card?
No. When you buy a View Card you agree that it is for your sole use and all bookings made need to be in your name. It is not transferable so please don’t lend it to a friend as venues are under strict instructions to retain View Cards where the name doesn’t match with another form of ID. This is to prevent anyone else using your card if you lose it so please don’t lend it to a friend. However, you can take plenty of people with you to enjoy the savings – just check the maximum number of people the offer allows. And tell your friends that they can buy one for themselves so that you can take an even bigger group along.
I’ve been asked to provide ID – why is that?
The card is not transferable and can only be used by the person named on the card. Checks will be made that you are that person or to verify age when ordering alcohol or entering an age restricted venue. A credit card, driving licence or similar should suffice.
Will you be adding other venues?
We are constantly adding venues and negotiating offers on your behalf. We’ll send you a newsletter to keep you updated with new deals and they will be added to the site on a regular basis so make sure that you keep checking the View Card section.
Will you be adding other cities to the card?
Yes! We are already speaking to venues across the UK on a daily basis and we’ll be adding new offers in more cities as soon as we have them. You’ll soon be able to use your View Card nationwide.
After buying the card how quickly will I receive it?
We endeavour to get all membership cards processed and dispatched by first class mail within three working days so you can get your eager mitts on it as soon as possible.
Can I just turn up at a participating venue?
Please check the terms and conditions of specific offers. As a general rule, for a food offer you need to phone ahead and book, telling them at the time of booking that you are a View Card member but for other offers you can generally just turn up. You will need to let staff know that you are using a View Card when you arrive and before asking for the bill so that they can apply the discount.
Will I get the same service as a normal paying customer?
Indeed you will. You will be treated as any normal valued customer. If you feel that you have not been treated as such, then please contact us via email

Is the discount on food and drink?
Most offers apply to either food or drink, not both. For example, 50% off restaurant offers apply only to the food ordered. However, some venues run a number of offers in conjunction so you can enjoy 2-4-1 across all courses ordered and 2-4-1 on bottled beer but you can only use the offers once a day. Please check the details of offers carefully.
What if I receive sub standard service?
We expect all our members to be treated as any other normal customer. If you feel you have cause for complaint, please inform us of the details of your experience by email

Can I suggest a venue to be included?
We welcome all suggestions and comments. If you have a favourite venue that you would like to see included, then please let us know and we will do our best to negotiate a View Card offer on your behalf.
How many times can I use the card?
You can use the card as many times as you want for an entire year! There are a variety of View Card offers available for practically every day of the year. Use is unlimited but terms and conditions apply. Please check individual offers for details.
Will you be adding other types of offers?
Yes! At present, there are a wide variety of offers available in restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs ranging from 50% and 2-4-1 deals to free entry and reduced booking fees on selected tickets. We are always negotiating fantastic savings on your behalf and hope to add shopping discounts, cinema offers and many other lifestyle savings. Keep checking the site for new offers and make sure you subscribe to the newsletter for up to date View Card developments and news.
What do I do if I lose the card?
If you lose your card, please let us know as soon as you discover it’s missing via email,
card.team@view.co.uk. Due to the costs incurred in reissuing you with a new one, there will be a small charge of £5.95 to cover administration, postage and packing.
What's the difference between you and other similar cards on the market?
We offer a more comprehensive package of offers in one card across multiple cities and best of all, the offers are unlimited, which means you can keep going back for more of the same great savings. We’re also sensibly priced from the start. You can easily save the cost of the card in just one use. Our aim is to keep you entertained for less.
What do I do if the venue claims not to accept the View Card but it is listed on your site?
Please make sure you call ahead, clearly stating you are a View Card member. They will confirm then that the card is accepted and will make a note that you will be using your membership card.
If you encounter problems with the venue on the day, please keep your receipt and contact us as soon as possible via email
card.team@view.co.uk and we will endeavour to rectify the situation. Please ensure that the offer is available on the day you have booked. All venues reserve the right not to accept View Card bookings if they are already fully booked.
What’s the difference between the free trial and being a full View Card member?
We’re running a free one month trial so you can see how easy it is to use and how great the savings are. However, only full View Card members can unlock the benefits of Premium Offers, which are a group of specially negotiated, often exclusive deals in fine dining venues across London.
What if I lose the printed voucher?
Please ensure you keep the free trial email with your PDF trial membership attached. That way, you can print out additional copies if you lose one. We can’t reissue trial membership PDFs.
Do I still need to book with the free trial?
Yes. All of the View Card offers are subject to the terms and conditions stated. If booking is required, please call ahead stating that you are a View Card trial member.
Can I still get access to all the offers with my View Card trial?
No. Only full View Card members have access to Premium offers.
Can I reapply for another free trial after mine has expired?
No. Sorry. It wouldn’t be a trial otherwise. If you liked it, now is the time to become a member by buying a View Card! If you didn’t get chance to use your free trial, tell a friend and get them to try it and take you along as their guest.
Can I cancel my View Card membership?
You must cancel your membership in writing within seven days of purchase, returning the View Card to us unsigned and unused to receive a full refund. We've priced the card very competitively so it's easy to recoup the cost through just one use. Therefore, no refunds are given if you have used your View Card membership.
What’s with the automatic membership renewal?
We want you to concentrate on having fun so we have set up automatic renewal to make your membership smooth and hassle free. We will let you know at least a month before renewal if there have been any changes and that your membership is being automatically renewed. There’s no obligation to renew and if you don’t want to continue your View Card membership, all you have to do is let us know in writing at least seven days before renewal.
