Brighton Music Hall reviews

After walking along the sea front I chose this restaurant as having the best menu with a wide choice of food. If only they could have supplied ear plugs for the loud thumping music I would have stayed to eat.

Looking back at the others reviews i can hardly believe them!!i went to Brighton music hall for a Christmas party and had a brilliant time, its such a great venue, great views, very pleasant staff very polite. The whole evening ran smoothly you could tell it was well organised. We had a cold buffet just snacky foods its was yummy!!i would definitely recommend for party bookings!! Looking forward to going down in the summer with the girls for lunch.

This place is an absolute joke! We tried to order from a waitress but were told to order at the bar. The table next to us had no problem! When we ordered at the (eventually) the staff were queuing for a till. The food took a while but was ok... Not great and a bit overpriced. The music was a cover band that killed some really good songs! I'm just glad it wasn't raining as this is a really nice spot it's just a shame this place is so poor. I can't begin to say how bad this place is. It's clearly unorganised and poorly ran. Won't come here next time.

What a disappointment! They have the ideal spot on the seafront so why have they got it so wrong?! We found the bar staff arrogant rude and the service just poor. Food isn't great either. Friends of ours tried to book the venue for a private party but were messed around on a number of occasions and ultimately let down with their confirmed booking. Just very poor service.

What a joke!!! Granted, they have the location - right on the beach front and it has definitely improved since Geminis but the bar staff are arrogant rude and generally clueless.Surely they should have it made with the location on the seafront but food is average and unfortunately it is just very very overrated.Friends of mine tried to book for a private party and got the run around with their booking on more than one occasion. Plus the bar upstairs for private parties is in the most ridiculous position making it hard to access if you have large parties. I would not recommend this place at all.

Every time i have come here a great band seems to be playing, i have been told that other genres such as jazz and alternative forms of entertainment such as circus acts / burlesque are looking to be booked in the future? wow! ! i love it, me and my fiance cant get enough of it we are planning on booking our wedding reception here, the views are amazing, the nice but a little over priced, the service very speedy, and the manageress very helpful and friendly.

This is a really good place to go on a sunny afternoon. There is a huge outdoor seating area right on the beach and you can get table service so you don't even need to move a muscle! The service is really friendly and the food we had was very good. I can't wait to see what events they have coming up!

My wife and i stopped for a meal at Brighton Music Hall this week. We ordered 2 x burgers. It was a rare thing that we couldnt eat the burgers, but it was nigh on impossible. The burgers were full of fat and grissle - seriously bad. The bun was a hard lump of bread that added to the disaster. At £9 a shot we should have complained, as we both left most of what we'd ordered. It's a nice spot, but the food was absolute rubbish.

Wow. What an improvement from Geminis! Geminis had been left to fester for too long and now the whole site has been gutted and whilst the live music has stayed, the quality has improved massively and you can now go inside! The first floor room is beautiful and has amazing views over the whole of the seafront. We were there for breakfast last week and it was great. I believe they serve food every day now.
