O2 ABC Glasgow reviews

By Calum S.

My Daughter and her friends were thrown out of this pit as they complained when a friend was attacked. Believe it or not, but read the other reviews and this will give you a taste of what you might expect of this third rate establishment. Don't go. Glasgow is a hive of excellent entertainment in the way of pubs clubs etc so just leave this one to the indie or dare I say druggie crowd. Can you include a minus rating as this dump doesn't deserve a one!!

Ended up in this club on a saturday night, after walking the streets it seemed like the only one with a queue to get in. So me and my boyfriend queued up to then be intimidated by the bouncers (being asked in a rude manner where we had been before, how much we had to drink and 'Are you ok lad!') Honestly I feel they were trying to receive a reaction from my boyfriend. Inside wasnt much better, place is a dive, large black room no decoration apart from a tv screen, very limited seating. Honestly avoid this place if you can, may have been the old cinema but they havent used this to their benefit. Please spend you money somewhere else!

Avoid ABC its a dive and the staff are very unfriendly and the doormen are even worse.I went twice over a 2mth period but each time was the same.......................save yer money and try somewhere nice....this club gives Glasgow a bad name.

ABC seems to attract more of an indie crowd. Its songs are mainly indie with the more up to date pop tune thrown in.

The main floor is prob the best place to be but to be honest if you are not an indie person this wont suit you.

There doesn't seem to be a dress code as it seems relaxed looking but i have had friends knocked back for dressing trendy or smart, it seems they want to keep it indie looking inside.
