This is a happy, bright and cheery show featuring a generous helping of some of the most memorable songs of the fifties to the eighties with a decided leaning towards the sixties. The company appear to be enjoying it every bit as much as the (predominently elderly) audience. As with many similar shows, this production largely relies on audience participation and it certainly succeeds in that objective. If the singers should forget the lyrics, they can rely on the audience providing the prompt! A full house suggests that this is a successful formula and further versions of the show seem certain. I for one will not complain!
