Returning after a successful 2013 Halloween, the Eerie Evening Tours at Kensington Palace are back to take you on a whirlwind historic adventure around the grand building. When the night draws in and everyone goes home, the rooms and corridors of Kensington Palace still echo the memories of historical events that took place in days gone by and those who take part in these historic tours will get the chance to experience it first hand. An eerie tour As darkness approaches on these autumn nights, guests on the Eerie Evening Tours at Kensington Palace will find themselves free to wander the derelict corridors of this magnificent building in the dark. On your journey round the plethora of palace rooms, you will learn about the mysterious sights, unexplained happenings, strange royal encounters, gruesome disasters and agonising deaths that have occurred under the occupancy of its previous owners, so be prepared for some spooky stories! Light refreshments Don’t worry if you haven’t got time to eat before you embark on the Eerie Evening Tours at Kensington Palace, as food and drink is included in the ticket price. You can indulge in an array of savoury, sweet and liquid fancies on arrival and after you’ve consumed the refreshments, the tour will begin and the lights will be switched off. Kensington Palace The Eerie Evening Tours at Kensington Palace enables guests to see this beautiful 17th century Royal building in its entire night-time splendour. Previously the palace has been home to a host of Royal names, including Princess Diana and more recently, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, however the last reigning monarch to use the palace was King George II who died in the grounds in 1760. The Eerie Evening Tours at Kensington Palace take place on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October 2014. Doors open at 6.30pm and the tour starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £27.50.00 per person.
