Gauguin - Voyage De Tahiti
Director. Edouard Deluc
Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin invests more time and effort in his canvases than his personal relationships. He abandons his Danish wife Mette and their children to paint in French Polynesia. Gauguin welcomes a local girl Tehura as his living companion and muse, and in return, the locals christen him Koke. The relationship between the painter and Tehura intensifies but she is also drawn to Jotepha, who becomes the third point of a volatile love triangle.
