In the late 1920s, Korea's fierce resistance to Japanese occupation threatens to ignite with devastating consequences. Korean-born Captain Lee Jung-chool has betrayed his friends and colleagues by aligning himself with the Japanese, agreeing to root out members of the resistance operating under leader Che-san. One of the prime targets is antiques dealer Kim Woo-jin, whose shop is believed to be a front for resistance operations.
