Head chef Colin Layfield has created an all-day menu, which focuses on the UK’s finest seasonal produce. Breakfast highlights include Rainy Lane yoghurt, spiced Williams pear and John Ross Jr smoked salmon, while a menu available at lunch or dinner features Creedy Carver chicken and leek pie and 45-day house-aged Lake District Rib of beef on the bone.

The original restaurant, designed in art deco style by Martin Brudnizki, now has a variety of flexible spaces perfect for get-togethers and informal meetings, as well as catering for parties of different sizes. New additions include The Glass Room, a semi-private area seating 18, along with the Kitchen Bar area filled with high tables and seating for 37, ideal for all-day working, breakfast meetings and informal business lunches. A newly added private dining room plays host to the first Champagne School, re-imagined as a 12-seater Tasting Room that can also be booked for meetings, masterclasses or parties fizzing with Champagne and British sparkling.
