65 and King reviews

By Yousaf M.

Have been coming here intermittently for over 2 years now and it remains my number one haunt whenever I am in west London. Any time, whether I have gone in for a meal, a drink, coffee or some sort of hangover cure (the house Bloody Mary with basil-infused Vodka is one of the best I have tasted), I am always well taken care of. Cocktails of the highest quality - creative, innovative, unique and (in my case) improvised and made to taste. From the menu, King's Mule and Polynesian come to mind, as well as the newer Lucky No. 65 and President 43. First class food - steaks and burgers cooked to perfection. From oysters and calamari to the vegetable of the day (or that of the month!), everything I have ordered has been consumed only too quickly. The perfect place for dinner, a post-work drink or an afternoon pick-me-up (alcoholic or non). Always a pleasure, often a privilege. I just make 1 request - bring back the Tea Punch Collins!

HI I had a lovelt few weeks a go ,and thought it would be worthwhile putting down some positive feedback. As people are far to quick to write critiicms. Perfert place for couples or a group of you Good and friendly service, nice decor and pleasant and easy to have a good chat. Lots of comfortable seating areass in diffrent corners. PLush Now on the food. Have to try the fewsh oyster which were amazing good quality and tasty and cheap at a tenner for half dozen. Great with lemon juice and tabassco sauce. You have to try teh fried courgettes, best I have tasted, crisgy and so moorish. Also give the mixed startes a go , good blemd of tastes. You got to go , the chefs really care about the food. Have a fun might. Paul
