Ranked #1781 of 5241 restaurants in London
"Balans Soho Society brings its bohemian spirit to Westfield, creating a café, restaurant, bar and member’s establishment where normal rules don’t apply. Reflecting the eccentric ethos of Soho, Balans Westfield is a refuge for bon vivants, dreamers and anyone who embraces the indulgent side of life.
Offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and extravagant cocktails, the Balans menu reflects the restaurant’s libertine outlook. Savour the pulled pork wrap with bourbon-flamed barbecue sauce and triple-cooked chips, Cornish crab linguine with chilli, or the Infamous Balans Burger, packed with Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, dill pickle and red onion."

Balans Soho Society reviews

This new look Balans Soho Society absolutely rocks. There's so much to take in with it's little quirky corners and curious items on show. We got a great table on the terrace and the place was packed. It was about 7pm. My steak was delicious with chunky triple fried chips which were so good I ordered another portion.... full is not the word. The cocktails are also great... Porn Star Martini... delish. The service is top notch too. Fast and friendly without being intrusive. What more could you ask for?

Horrible place with horrible staff.Don't go to Westfield one.Just not worth it. Bar tender Simona interested in boys only who stink on booze and fags.Poor just poor service. And if somebody cant do the job properly i m sure there is someone else who will.

Well I am a fan of Balans but definately wont be eating in the Westfield branch. We ordered the calamari which was oily and from frozen then the crab cakes with Mayo and salad relish looked very appatising but bite into it and yuk!! It tasted as if it were cooked in reconstituted oil! Gave a very metally after taste. Anywho, then came our main the steak and egg was ok but for £9.95 a bit too over priced. The home made cheese burger was just weird the mince meat was dry and rubbery and bland and in both dishes the fries were under cooked. Only thing nice was the strawberry and bananna smootie and pinacolada cocktail. The staff were really friendly and attentive no complaints there really!! I must say the Balans in soho is far better I wish the menu was not revised as the present menu just sucks it used to be so apatising and different. I won't be eating at westfields balans again.
