Brouge reviews

By Mark S.

What an amazing place. Newly refurbed in 2013 the place now looks amazing, toilet compacted away from serving areas and the place is bright and big. Garden decking looks great now. Food is fantastic, service the best around even in the garden and bar area. A must visit. The best pub in twickenham

I had been looking forward to going to Brouge ever since we moved to Hampton but found my self leaving with very mixed feelings. The beer selection is fantastic, but the service at the bar is sloppy. Then the toilets which are really inadequate for such a large place were blocked and really disgusting to use! I did complain but nothing was done whilst we were there. Then we sat down for dinner and having looked forward to my Moules for so long they didn’t have any mussels. This really annoyed me. I then chose a steak which I have to say was amazing... but the frittes they serve are chips and not frittes. The service in the restaurant was better but still not great. In all I feel like its worth another crack and maybe we went on an off night but I wasn't impressed. The steak and beer were amazing but the night in general was not. Being a huge fan of belgo's this place didn't begin to compare.
