Earl Haig reviews

When we arrived at The Earl Haig there was a big group of guys at the bar. A little bit intimidating at first but turned out to be a really nice atmosphere in there! We enjoyed the food and the wine was flowing all evening! Tanks for a good night Earl Haig!

Earl Haig is always one of my favourite pubs as it has quality real ales available along with affordably priced food - Job Done.

The Earl Haig had a plethora of real ales to try and they are happy to suggest ones if you're not sure. I've always stuck to the generic lagers but The Earl Haig inspired me! I tried 3 or 4 different ales which was a really nice change. Hopefully get the chance to head back and try some more :)

Popped into Earl Haig recently to partake in their beer festival :) They have some really nice options available and the food isn't bad either.

Service was abysmal to say the least.

I visited Earl Haig on Thursday night (very recently)the Bar service was abysmal. I have seldom witnessed worse, at one stage there was only one person serving and at least 20 people waiting to be served, there was never more than two bar attendants at any time. The bar staff had no idea who was in line to be served and served whoever stood in front of them at the time. I should point out that this behaviour causes frustration and anger with punters. The Manager of Earl Haig was sat with her regular punters and did absolutely nothing to help the situation. I lodged a complaint and this too went over her head. I left the pub in disgust and debated with my wife if we should ever return.

A colleague of mine wanted to book for a group of us to go for lunch. First of all she was told by a member of staff that this would be ok but when she tried to book it with the manager he was extremely rude and said they did not do bookings she asked why and told him other places take bookings. His answer to that was"Well go there then". I

Decent pub with everything you need. Bexleyheath is pretty rubbish most of the time but this pub cheers me up on a rainy, dreary, gloomy afternoon after a rubbish day at work.

The Earl Haig's beer festival was a lovely change from the norm yesterday. Some weird and wonderful ales to try and not too expensive either!! Bexleyheath needs more beer festivals!

The beer festival currently at Earl Haig is great. Plenty of real ales available and some good food :)

I am part of the Earl Haig ale club, I suggest if you love your ale then look no further. An amazing selection of ale here, many guest ales and a great place to meet really nice people s the crowd is great

The Earl Haig does really good food for a pub and a cheap lunch deals as well. I nipped along last week and had a lunch and a glass of wine and was very good. My colleagues and I plan on making this a regular for lunch as were very impressed! Def recommended.

I came down to Earl Haig with some friends last week and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. Much better than your average pub grub and a nice cosy setting - would definitely recommend in you find yourself in Bexleyheath!

Good little pub in Bexleyheath this. Always a reliable stop for a decent pint or bite to eat - staff were friendly enough and good atmosphere. Would recommended the Earl Haig if in the area.

Gotta be loving the 5 week beer festival at Earl Haig. This is a really great example of what all pubs should be like in Bexleyheath.

The Earl Haig is a really nice pub in Bexleyheath, they serve all my food favourites along with nice beers, recommended!

Nice pub, such a pity that the food is terrible and the manager/landlord is an appallingly rude and upleasant character that has the people skills of a jumped up traffic warden having a bad day. wont be going back in a hurry

I really do like the Earl Haig pub, they serve really nice food and the staff are always friendly, Oh....and some really nice ales to :)

Definitely one of the best places to enjoy a drink in Bexleyheath. Earl Haig has some really nice ales to try which makes it my kind of place.
