Located on Bruton Street, Hakkasan Mayfair spans two floors for up to 220 guests. The lower ground floor encapsulates the traditional intimate Hakkasan setting surrounded by intricate wooden screens, whilst the ground floor features a relaxed dining space combined with a vibrant bar area."

I agree totally with the majority of reviews on Hakkasan, given its Mayfair location it is of course a little pricey but if you really want to treat yourself (or someone special) then Hakkasan is a spot on venue for that.The food is all so imaginative and bright, I was jealous and glaring at everything that left the kitchen!

I found the place to be almost too big and a bit impersonal at times, but otherwise I had no problems when I visited the restaurant last month. The large restaurant is certainly stylish and modern, and I don't think the size will be a problem for most people, I just personally prefer smaller places. The food is really nice too, and its perfect for a group of friends going out. I wouldn't say it was ideal for intimate dates, but then I was out with the girls and we had a fantastic night, so no real complaints!

Lovely food, lovely wine, fantastic wait staff. Hakkasan has been a favourite of mine since their hanway place days and im very glad they have opened a Mayfair branch. I plan to go here more often as the food is the best and its right around the corner from my weekend townhouse so its perfect for me.

I have been to both Hakkasan restaurants in london (the other in hanway place I believe), and this is equally as good as the other one. Being a big meat eater I choose the Mongolian lamb, and it was sublime. Very flavoursome and tender, unlike a lot of lamb nowadays.

Hakkasan is Chinese food like I have never tried before. I thought my local takeaway was special but this is really something else! The food is matched in quality by the sublime décor and th waiting staff were of course very quick and responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Both Hakkasan’s are fabulous. Neither are easy to get into but if you don’t mind booking in advance then you will NOT be disappointed. I love all Asian food, I think they would call this modern Chinese but you aren’t going to get sweet and sour chicken here

Hakkasan on Bruton Street is part of the expanding Hakkasan empire. The place is dark and sexy and the food is quite sensational. Its got a well deserved Michelin star and long may it keep it. Its quite a brilliant place.

Hakkasan did not disappoint, the phrase you you get what you pay for applies here. Yes it is expensive but the food served here is of the highest quality. If you want to try something different to the Chow Mien and pork balls, then this is the place to experience how this type of food should be served.

Okay, Hakkasan is not cheap, but that should be expected when heading to a Michelin starred restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. The formula here is fantastic, and it is easy to see why they do so well. Definitely not your typical Chinese restaurant, Hakkasan serve only the finest ingredients and every dish I have sampled here oozes a quality, which can simply not be replicated elsewhere. If you're celebrating a special occasion and fancy splashing out a little, then I would thoroughly recommend coming here, and who knows, you may also find yourself hooked. Five stars from me.

After reading the other reviews I actually found myself agreeing with a lot of the things that other people have said. Yeah Hakkasan can feel a little too big, so its best to come here when it's busy if not you can kinda feel a bit like the spectre at the feast. In regards to the food, the dim sum was a definite hit, easily some of the best I have had in the Mayfair area. Overall I would give this place a 4 star rating, would have been a 5 had the service been a little more personable.

I can't see what all the bad reviews are about - this place has been awarded a Michelin star and their food quality proves it. I had an excellent meal for my cousins birthday and couldn't fault the service. Will be returning for another occassion no doubt...

Wish I could afford to dine here more often as Hakkasan is very very good. I was astounded by the level of detail this place has, the light fittings particularly caught my attention. The food was also good of course!

Having previously been to Hakkasan in hanway place, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have a Mayfair branch (don’t know why I didn’t already know this). Just like in Hanway place, everything about the restaurant is class, with the food, staff, and luxurious surroundings all equally as good.

Had an outstanding meal at Hakkasan on the weekend and while I don’t normally write reviews, I had to in this case as it was that good. I wasn’t aware of the Michelin star before heading here, but now I understand why only a few restaurants bear that quality. My lobster was the best, so so good.

I had the jasmine tea chicken at Hakkasan and it was a very sublte but beautiful dish. My friend had the spicy prawns and they looked just as fantastic and I am told (as he didn’t let me try any) that they were lovely also. Expensive, but WORTH IT.

I have eaten twice at Hakkasan Mayfair now and both times have been brilliant experiences that have openend my eyes in terms of how good Chinese food can be. I had szechuan style beef as that is what I usuallu have down my local Chinese and it was on another planet. Never again will I have the dry old meat of my local.

Everything about Hakkasan is to my taste. I enjoy the finer things in life and Hakkasan allows me to indulge in all that is good about Cantonese food. The lobster was out of this world and the waiters and lovely waitresses offered a very seamless service which didn’t impede on my experience (like many at other Michelin starred restaurants).

I’ve never been to a Michelin starred restaurant before but now I can see what all the fuss is about as Hakkasan was superb. I chose the black truffle roasted duck and im not exaggerating when I say it was the best meal I have ever had!

Another great night at Hakkasan - the black cod is still really bloody good, as is the cod in Champagne sauce. This is, though, I think the first time I've been to Hakkasan and not seen a famous face! Quite bizarre.

I'm not the biggest fan of high-end Chinese food but what's served here is pretty impressive. However, it's not that aspect that makes Hakkasan so good - it's the setting. It's dark and atmospheric, and just about the best place for a date in London. It works ;)

The Hakkasan might be a little pricey, however it's a delightful treat to visit this brilliant restaurant from time to time. The decor really sets the atmosphere in the restaurant, and the service was fantastic. The salt and pepper squid in particular was absolutely sublime! I would love to give this restaurant five stars, but it left a hefty dent in my wallet :)

You have to try the fresh cod with mango dressing! uber tasty, one of my faves at Hakkasan. Place can feel a bit big if you go on a quite night so I suggest going in a big group for a better atmosphere.
