Halal of Marble Arch reviews

Having never tried Egyptian cuisine, a friend of mine who loves it took me to Halal of Marble Arch. I'm still not convinced by the food (personal preference nothing else!) but it was a really pleasant atmosphere and the staff were helpful and engaging.

I'd have to advise any fans of Egyptian food to give Halal of Marble Arch a go. My friend really enjoyed it and the people were nice.

I ate here once and that was a big mistake, the place is unhygienic, the waiters are unprofessional. I ordered a quarter pounder burger with chips and drink and my friend ordered a shawarma. The tables and chairs were filthy, the waiters seemed uninterested in cleaning the place. The food was handled by the waiters before being set on our table. My burger bun was rock solid (they didnt even bother toasting it). I was sure that it had either expired or left out in the open for quite some time! I complained to the waiter, who shrugged off my concerns and again handled my food with his filthy hands, removed the bun and examined it and said to me that there was nothing wrong with it, at which point I instructed him to take a bite of it. Relunctantly he changed the bun and delivered me another burger. I quickly ate and left, on the verge of throwing up. My advice avoid this restaurant like the plague unless you dont mind your food being handled by filthy hands.

The worse experience ever! I have unfortunatly steped in that 118 halal, and do egret it. I have ordered 2 sticks of kababs and grilled veg. The meet was hard as rock and wose Tastless like Plastic but With A smell (£4 each stick of kebab).

The side dich was grilled veg, socking oil Tastless(chaged at (4.50). We felt sick as we could smell the Toilets fom our table. It was Discusting. I decided to give my comment to the manage. He felt offended and turned rude and ignorant. When I told him U lost a Customer he said"so". An Advise :don't go there
