Visited 3 times with my family of 6 (2 kids) during my 5 day stay there. Friendly service, value for money and efficient staff.
Among the food we tried, the beef Hor fun was excellent. tried roast duck with noodle soup, the duck was really fragrant and tasty. Soup was slighly bland.
The kai lan with oyster sauce had good serving size, large crunchy stems of Kai Lan.On the last day we had dim sum on a Sat noon. Place was jam packed and was slightly annoyed they could not find my booking even though it was done the night before by myself at the restaurant.
Char siew bun, siew mai, turnip cakes were all excellent. You must try the egg tarts, comes in 2 per order, big by chinese standards. Nice orange color tart filling, unbelievable thin but flaky crust, went down well with the adults and kids.
Chicken feet, steamed pork ribs, porridge was all above average. The Udon fried noodle with XO sauce had not enough XO sauce and was not spicy enough.
Place maybe hard to find due to a building under construction opposite it. Nice place to get away from the chinatown crowd. Must try!
