La Fiesta reviews

By Tom S.

Waited ages for our food. Didn't get what we asked for and had kids with us. Only one child got their food And had to wait for 5mins before the other child got theirs and same as drinks aswell. Rubbish service over all. Not very welcoming. Food did not stay warm and was just not impressed overall

The negative reviews on here must be from rival cafes on Castle Street! The food from La Fiesta is of a very high quality, the staff are really polite and welcoming, plus the prices are cheap!! The whole "food takes ages to prepare" myth only applies to busy Saturdays. The Café owners have done their upmost best to avoid food-traffic, this includes buying the shop next door to expand the business and create more seats for customers/jobs for chefs/other staff members. The only negative thing I have to say about this business is the fact that they do not accept cards, but for me the service they offer is worth walking around town with a pocket of silvers! 9/10

Awful experience. Ordered full English and my friend had a wrap; the wrap came cold and we waited over 25 mins for a breakfast that never came even though others who had came in after us already had their full English breakfasts. When I asked one of the staff he said 'It's coming' and didn't even go into the kitchen to check. They even forgot to bring over our drinks. I was so fed up of watching other customers receive their food even though they had come and ordered after I had that I decided to leave. To top it all of, they were completely shocked and offended when we didn't want to pay for the awful service we received. With about 10 other cafes in the area I would steer clear of this one.

I am afraid to have to disagree to your review as, being a regular costumer; I feel the food there is done fresh to a high standard for a very good affordable price. Excellent service, excellent food! It is such a fantastic place to visit and out of all the Cafes on that street, this cafe seems to be the most welcoming, with its friendly staff and management. It is a place not to be missed if you’re in Kingston!

Dreadful experience there yesterday. The falafel was inedible, chips were sloppy and the coffee burnt! Management is arrogant. To top it all, they don't accept credit cards... to avoid.
