Melt serves such lovely chocolate that every gift I've given lately has been from there! The Melt muffins are scrumptious too, go there!

Their sea slated caramels are literally the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. Hands down Melt is better than all of its competition by miles. Their simple and stylish packaging compliments the décor of the shop extremely well, echoing sophistication and elegance. The chocolate on offer is indescribable; you just have to try it. I always love receiving melt products as a gift and what great gifts they make too.

I have to commend the ‘fresh chocolate’ selection that they have here. Though they don’t last as long as regular everyday chocolates, the flavours are far more intense and you can really tell the quality of the ingredients. I’d never tried fresh chocolate before, but I my opinion the peanut butter and jelly is the best.

Melt's a lovely little shop, but I went in for ice-cream recently and was disappointed having expected much more. The massive portions were all full of ice crystals except the mango which was like any shop bought mango sorbet. The apple had a watery tasteless granny smith taste that was barely there. The cinnamon was overcome with a powdery ground cinnamon texture and the mandarin again was like a watery, tasteless orange. I think it sadly brings the whole shop down when you bring in a product that is not of the highest quality. Also there is a difference between a sorbet and an ice-cream which should be on the sign, as having had very good fruit ice-creams in the past an icy sorbet is always going to be a disappointment.
