Odeon Tottenham Court Road reviews

I was there with my boyfriend about a month ago to see Bridesmaids and we had lots of fun. The screen was nice and spacious and the staff was alright, I would definitely recommend. Much better than Marble Arch and on par with Covent Garden, which is also close.

What a shame so expensive

The manager was very helpful but another staff member did not seem to understand English too well so it took a while to get a simple question asked. The Premier seats are really expensive and I only went due to Marble Arch being refurbished. Not again though the seats are not bad for sitting but leg room is very bad, I ended up with bad pains. I can't seem to buy a seat that is available for buying, like end of a row, which is best for me. Unless you get a Premier seat at £19
Rather expensive for a disabled person and Carer. Even if I do get 2 for 1 tickets.

Avoid Tottenham Court Road Odeon

We had the misfortune to go to Odeon Tottenham Court Road on the first night of The Beatles-Eight Days a Week. It was a very hot evening and it was extremely uncomfortable because the seats are covered in pvc, so your legs stuck to them, and the air conditioning didn't seem to be on. Also I have never been in a cinema where the legroom is less than you get on a budget airline!
I had to leave the film half-way through to get some water as the heat was beginning to make me feel ill.
When asked about the air conditioning we were told that there was a 'blockage' and it wasn't working properly.
I e-mailed their head office the next day and complained asking for a refund. This was passed onto the management team at Tottenham Court Road and, despite being sent a reminder, they have not answered my complaint to this day.
Sums up our experience!

hmmm £19 for a 'premier' seat which was just like all the other seats but in the middle. also the screen is tiny. if you have a tv over say 32" then dont bother coming here. they do of course sell lots of food in plastic bages so your sure to hear some fool rustling all the way through the film. and the walls are paper thin so if theres a noisy film next door you get to hear that too! yippy do wont be going back to this stuck in the 80s cinema

The worst customer service I have ever had in my life. Besides really unprofessional and incompetent staff. When we asker for the tickets it was like we had been asking for 100£, the lady was ridiculously aggressive and when we went to the screen the Asian lady was so concentrate to wrap the sleeves of her top that we couldn't understand even a word of what she was saying. And it's not even cheep! Go somewhere else!

Well located cinema close to Tottenham Court Road and the eastern end of Oxford St. Went to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes and was very disappointed by the cinema - cinema 2 was not a big room so the screen was relatively small (a shame given the type of movie I was seeing and which is the reason I still go to the cinema, for that 'big screen' experience) and the relatively flat floor meant the heads of the people in front of you can get in the way of the screen. Also the so-called 'Premiere' seats are a joke with barely any more width than regular seats and certainly no more space between the rows. I won't be returning to this cinema again.
