Raoul's Cafe is a popular little place which is a good sign in my book! The food is great and the service even better (which is saying something) and prices aren't too bad at all. Raoul's Cafe is now my first port of call for a nice lunch!

Where to begin? for a start, the uninspiring menu, not a lot stood out. i decided to play safe and order the £22.00 steak thinking, what could go wrong? Well firstly, the bread. it was thrown down in a basket, no plates, no butter, olive oil, balsamic.. nothing. Just the average, dull tasting bread chucked out in front of us. Then the bottle of wine, the house red @ £17, probably the worst bottle of wine I have tasted out in an age. Then, the Argentinian Beef Fillet steak came with s smattering of mushrooms thrown on the side and then a big bowl of chips that could have been out of a McCains out of date freezer section. For what I was paying, I was expecting something excellent. While the steak was just ok, it was not worth the £22 I paid for it. The Confit of duck leg on the other side was passable, on a meagre bed of bland mash. We couldn't wait to get out, eventhough it was lashing rain outside. I went to beunos Aires restaurant in Wimbledon the following night and was bowled over by the quality of everything, the wine, the starter and most importantly the steak. If Raoul's is the best Warwick Ave has to offer, I recommend the trip south.

The staff were very pleasant, but for two teas, a lemonade and a piece of dry polenta cake, it was £15.00! Too expensive.

Good selection of food and drinks, but I miss the good old days at Raoul’s with friendly faces all around .(Notting Hill branch ). Not to mention the weekends when the actual staff is lost , specially at peak time around 1 pm .

Brilliant local cafe. Excellent variety of dishes on a decent sized menu. And the kitchen brigade clearly know what they are doing. If you have the scrambled eggs they will be the best you have ever had!! And a great wine list too. Still a great place to see proper celebs too - A listers abound on a lot of weekday mornings. keep up the great work all of you!! Thanks. Mike

Don't go to this cafe. They staff rudely and without care, turned me away today because I had a pram ie I was refused entry! The cafe was 100% empty at the time as it was a nice day and the 3 or so customers that were there, were sitting outside. I rang afterwards to complain to the manager and was matter of frankly told that it was 'company policy' to refuse entry at all time to prams. I've been all over the world to crowded cafes including Paris and have never come across such a policy. Dont go to Raouls Cafe - its a bad bad place.
