was there as group last week, food was ok took for ever to arrive , I had the steak which was ok Was shocked that it was ONLY steak on plate with tiniest side of chips which was about 6 chips,to find we were given one small plate of veg to share amongst 6portions of steak Not even a string bean each, when asked the manageress for ice rude attitude she has got issues! Will not recommend shame for the chef food was ok.atmosphere very bad.

Really love this restaurant. Have been several times, both with large groups and as a couple. Very good food- a high standard and beautifully presented. Good value for the quality. Friendly and helpful staff. By far the best in the local area. Only down side is the lack of choice for veggie options, and the infrequency of the menu change. Highly recommend.

An excellent restaurant - wonderful interesting food, freshly cooked, nice variety on the menu which changes regularly. We've never had a bad meal and the service is 1st class! They also take Taste-card which makes dining out regularly there very reasonable A real asset to the area!

I was here Feb. 2012 & enjoyed a fabulous meal. We were in the area & did a search of local restaurants. We were delighted with our choice. I had sirloin steak cooked to perfection & my friend had the monkfish which she assures me was wonderful. We walked into the restaurant 15 mins before it's offical opening but they were happy to accomodate us. The waiting staff were lovely & the wine was great. I have recommended it to my friends & will be going back soon I hope.

I am the one who wrote the first review. the problem I had was the manageress just lied about my Groupon booking, kept saying I didn't tell her when I booked. That's similar to your situation regarding the voucher. I bet she just denied she ever said she would accept email. She wanted to chuck us out. She was so rude. I agreed overall the food taste was not bad. The waitresses were very good. We would go back again if she was nice. But the manageress ruined our night. There are many better restaurants out there so we won't return. The idea of Groupon is to attract new customers and hopefully they will come back to pay full price. Instead they got negative reviews.

We ate here on SATURDAY 22nd October under a GROUPON booking.I had booked the table approx 10 days prior and was assured that I DIDN'T need the voucher and that the e-mail would suffice ( I had problems printing it off ). On arrival I was informed I needed the voucher and there began a trip outside to get internet connection so I could get the e-mail barcode up etc. NOT a good start to our 1st anniversary !!HOWEVER the ambiance inside the restaurant is very pleasant. Quite a small place and therefore intimate. All the tables were taken and seems quite popular. Service between courses was just about right. We had a couple of bottles of Chardonnay which was passable. Wine list ££ reasonable.Starters were good I had scallops which were a little on the small side ( ones I had in VEGAS were 5x the size ). They were melt in the mouth though and very flavourful. Mrs had chorizo salad which was a good size and tasty.I had rib-eye for main which was a tad overdone IMHO however it was full of flavor and a good size. Mrs had Monkfish which she said was excellent.Desert was awesome - chocolate fondant was heavenly and the raspberry brulee was great. All in all it was a great meal apart from some very minor niggles - if these were ironed out would have been 5/5

'Absolutely Amazing' By far the best overall dining experience available for miles! The food was Fabulous and outstanding value for money. It took a while for the food to arrive, but well worth the wait. You could tell that everything was cooked fresh from scratch. The Steak was amongst the best I have ever tasted and the Fish dishes were Fantastic too! The biggest treat was the Chocolate Fondant dessert, there is no word to describe the experience other than 'Heavenly'! The venue is very stylish, well appointed and perfect to relax or impress. There is a great atmosphere and they attract a very pleasant clientele. The staff were delightful, friendly and polite they made us feel like we were old friends by the time we left! We had a very pleasurable experience and we will certainly be going back. We highly recommend a visit to Table 7!

My wife and I dined there last Saturday and were disappointed. The young manageress was very rude and bossy and argumentative over Groupon booking. The steak was overdone instead of medium rare we ordered. scallop starter was a bit tasteless and small. grilled prawns and desert was good though. Overall OK but won't go back because of the rude manageress.
