The Sandrock reviews

We dropped in the pub while looking for a place to eat and was lovely. The car park was definitely nice as this area has shortage of parking. Will try to come on route here again.

I have been going to this pub on regular basis for the past many years. It has recently changed hands and the food quality and choices have increased. There is always a chefs special which for the last couple of times have been a favourite. Well recommended to others.

I went in with my mum and her dog. Surprisingly enough the it is a dog friendly pub with a separate section where dogs are allowed. We both had a lovely meal and our dog had it's own sausage. A very well local recommended indeed.

Me and my family went for a meal in the Sandrock. The food was very nice and I had the most fantastic corn fed Duck was the chefs special. It is really nice to see these days so much effort to be just put in a pub and make it so nice for customers to have a nice experience.

Last Friday we went in a meal at the Sandrock and there was live Jazz on Friday. It was so lovely to see a live performance over a meal. Definitely the music compliments the food. The customer service was fantastic and experience was amazing.

Nice pub the staff were pleasant and efficient and the food quite good. It's ok, we won't rush back but may go again sometime.

We were doing a walking on the London loop and were exhausted and wanted to eat something and rest for a while and we came across The Sandrock. We went in after an exhausting walk and were greeted nicely and the ambiance was lovely. The food was lovely and home cooked and beer was fantastic. I would definitely try to go there as the customer service was lovely.

Visited this pub after a few years absence and it is well furnished with plenty of space. Only one ale was available (Landlord)and it was just OK quality. The food however is quite awful. Ordered the Cumberland sausages. They were cheap and full of gristle and I assume were heated up from the day before because they were absolutely solid. The "onion" gravy had fat swilling in a weak brown liquid diluting the reasonable mash The service was good initially but very surely after that. Not a pub I'll be returning to soon which is a shame because upon arrival the landlady was very welcoming
