I loved Wahleeah: the food, vibe and décor! From the bar snacks: shrimp and pea fritters(who knew that, that would work!), tater tots (potato dumplings), macaroni and cheese balls to the main menu of ricotta dumplings, the tuna meatloaf, the beef burger, endive salad, turkey burger, oxtail, crab cauliflower it’s all delicious! The cheesecake is amazing and is a mix of salty and sweet- it isn’t sickening like most desserts are. It also has a hint of chilli (which normally I don’t like) but somehow the flavours complement each other. The Oreo trifle is also amazing but is meant to mimic an Oreo cookie in looks only and is more sponge like so no crunch.
The portion sizes are good (starters may be a bit too big so perhaps share!) and it's reasonably priced. The atmosphere is trendy without trying too hard. It’s recently opened so best go for a visit before everyone else finds out! They also have brunch and lunch so I’m going to have to try that out!
