Zaman Indian Cuisine reviews

We did not eat in the restaurant, we ordered a delivery online so our experience may differ slightly if we sat in and had a meal. We ordered a prawn biryiani and a lamb curry with rice amongst other things. Received the confirmation email and everything was correct. The food and delivery time was good but the service was not so good. They brought a lamb biryani instead of the lamb curry. We called to ask if they would bring the lamb curry that we ordered and they said they would. After 30 minutes it arrives and they want the lamb biryiani back or they will not give us the lamb curry that we ordered. By that point we had dished it up (before realising it was the wrong thing) and out of hunger my dad started to eat a little bit of it. Anyway the driver started to argue with my dad loudly in the street, how embarrassing! Needless to say we never got to see any lamb curry!

it was one of the best experiences i have had and i will surely be going back for more, the waiters were very friendly and the food was superb and there's nothing more i could say about it because it was that great.

I challenge anyone to find a better restaurant! The atmosphere is superb and the food delicious. A wonderful meal for two including drinks and desert comes in at a credit crunch busting £30 (ish). In terms of the services, the staff are helpful and are always on hand. And even for those who don’t live in Enfield its location is perfect for the train station (Bush Hill Park), less than a 5 min walk. The only downside is that other restaurants just don’t quite hit the mark anymore in comparison.

went to the restaurant over the weekend with four friends. this was the first time we went there and i must say i enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very much. i had the lamb aroma and one of my friend ordered the king prawn jinga - both of these dishes were the best iv tasted anywhere. i will be re-visiting the restaurant again.

I recently moved to the area and must say I have tried a few Indian restaurants and take aways but then a friend told me about Zaman Indian restaurant. The people were very friendly especially the manager who is always smiling and very chatty. The food was excellent, very well presented and Zaman is definitely somewhere I will return to.

Zaman can get very busy on Saturdays, worth a phone call to check, other days just turn up. The owner and staff are all quite young, have a sense of humour, and are very keen to please.

Food quality is very good, I've had much much worse and paid a lot more.

Chicken Shaslick particularly good. Overall, well worth a visit.
