The pure fact that you go to places depending on reviews of the place just makes it even more stupid. People don't know whether they like something or not unless they try it for themselves.
I am not the only regular that goes to that restaurant. I have lived in Wallsend for many years and I know half the town and everyone that has been and still goes there have all had no problem at all with the food.
In fact it was just yesterday I was in and a family ordered the dim sum and actually complimented the chef on how good the food was before leaving.
The fact you have picked out on the smallest thing complaining about a staff member dropping a FORK because it slipped off the side of the plate is completely ludacris! I asked about the incident when I was in and the driver remembered it well.
Before you go on making anymore lies about this lovely business trying to ruin their reputation, get your facts right.
The driver mentioned that during the time you were in, 1 customer came in and also 2 deliveries were made. Maybe pay attention next time.
Judging by your snotty attitude I wouldn't have been surprised if the staff weren't very social with you. A word of advice, nobody likes a person who "acts" high class. Especially not in Wallsend. High class rich people don't visit Wallsend.
There are limits to hospitality. You get what you are given. Next time you go somewhere, maybe try being nicer to members of staff and maybe try striking up a conversation. Working staff are human beings too. Not slaves to be at your beck and call. Treat them as an equal and don't look down on them or anyone for that matter. You are no better than anyone out there. That, is called diversity.
Keep that in mind for future reference. You will be treated with more respect. Show respect to others and others will show the same respect.
