Samuel Fox Country Inn information

Samuel Fox Country Inn boasts fresh locally sourced British meals plus a fine range of real ales. The charming and cosy atmosphere makes it an ideal place for either a quiet sociable drink or a relaxed meal with family.

"The Samuel Fox Country Inn is an AA five star inn with an emphasis on serving great food. Since late 2012 the inn has been in the ownership of award winning chef James Duckett whose food has been widely acclaimed as being amongst the very best in the Sheffield and Peak District. The inn is located in the village of Bradwell in the Hope Valley, just 15 miles from the centre of Sheffield. Its newly refurbished restaurant and bar provide a relaxed and comfortable setting in which to enjoy James’s cooking or, perhaps just to enjoy a pint of local real ale or a glass of wine. James serves modern British and European cuisine for which the restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes and recommendations in the Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide. We promise you a memorable dining experience whether you opt for James’s seven course tasting menu or settle for a blackboard special at the bar. "

Samuel Fox Country Inn reviews

By Kelly W.

I eat at The Samuel Fox at least once every two weeks and love it! The food is fantastic and very reasonable in price and the service is really good. Definitely worth a try!

Very expensive and absolutely no character. Almost aways empty, read on the Sheffield forum about the snobby attitude of the owners. Not a pub for locals and one I wouldn't visit again.
